Catie O’Keefe (Resident Playwright) holds a BA in Theatre from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon USA and a Masters in Playwrighting from Royal Holloway, University of London. Her work has been performed at the Denver Center for Performing Arts, Lewis & Clark College, Royal Holloway University and The Royal Court Upstairs. 

She has taken part of countless workshops including the Soho Theatre’s Tasters Workshop and the Young Writers Group at the Royal Court.  Her most recent pieces include The Bathtub Session, Extraction and a monologue titled Student
in the 2008 Rough Cuts season at the Royal Court.

Jo Munday (Assistant Director/ Stage Manager) currently works as a director and researcher for Videojug, an internet based production company who create funny and factual ‘how to’ videos (www.videojug.com). Theatre credits include stage Management on Fortress Production’s Stiff Acrylic in August 2007.


Laura Sykes (Actor) studied drama at Loughborough University and has since been involved in various new writing projects. She performed in plays by Rebecca Lenkiewicz and Rikki Beadle-Blair at the Soho Theatre and has workshopped many plays with the Lowry Young Writers Programme in Manchester through the National Youth Theatre. She has also been involved in rehearsed readings at the Soho Theatre and recorded Rebecca Lenkiewicz’s Blue Moon Over Poplar for BBC Radio 4.

Melissa Dunne (Director) Melissa trained at CSSD and has a degree in English
Literature. Previous Directing include Make (Embassy Studio Theatre) Banshees (Wales Millenium Centre, Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2006) and Nest of Angels
(Zoo Venues). Melissa spent 2001/2002 teaching English and leading Youth Theatre Projects in the South of China. She reads for the Soho Theatre.

Vicki Stevenson (Producer/ Designer) has worked in production at Knifedge The Creative Network and Red Bee Media, gaining experience in theatre, TV, short films and animation. She is currently producing The Pink Bedroom by Tennessee Williams for Unspoken Productions, which will be showing at the Courtyard Theatre,  Hoxton in April 2008.  She has a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London, where she concentrated her studies on theatre design.

As a set and costume designer she has worked on productions including Assassins at the Royal Holloway studio Theatre, Stiff Acrylic by Kenny Emsom at the Hen and Chickens, Peter Pan at the Greenwich Theatre Festival and assisted David Farley on La Cage aux Folles at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Ximena Garcia Vera (Actor) studied Ballet and Cello in Spain and then won a United World Colleges scholarship to study International Baccalaureate in Waterford Kamhlaba, Swaziland. After doing a Foundation at the Oxford School of Drama she graduated with a BA Acting at Central School of Speech & Drama last June. Her work includes a production of Yerma in Swaziland, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sally in Live Like Pigs, various short films and The Escape Artist video for The Revere.
